The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) is an organization with a profound history that remains highly relevant in today’s world. Since its founding in 1890, more than one million women have joined, driven by a desire to honor their heritage and make a meaningful impact in their communities, both nationwide and globally. For the past 12 years, the Apalachee Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution proudly joined the national Wreaths Across America mission, standing with communities across the country to honor those who served. Thanks to the generosity and patriotism of donors, volunteers placed approximately 7,000 wreaths on the graves of veterans. Each wreath represents a life of service, a story of courage, and a promise that their sacrifice is not forgotten. It was a deeply moving and unifying tribute.
