Sponsor a wreath. Honor a hero. Inspire the next generation. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Whether you choose to sponsor one wreath ($17 per wreath) or many boxes ($204 each box), your generosity helps ensure that every veteran is remembered and every sacrifice is honored. Together, we keep their legacy alive.

Every headstone tells a story. Every wreath honors a life.
Each December, participants gather in quiet reverence to honor those who served our country. With every wreath laid and every name spoken, we reaffirm our commitment to remember the fallen, honor their service, and preserve their stories. Wreaths Across America is a yearlong mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach – “Remember” the fallen. “Honor” those who serve. “Teach” the next generation the value of freedom.

Apalachee Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, Bogart, has adopted this mission and is beginning their 11th WAA campaign across the Oconee area. Since 2024, the Apalachee Chapter, NSDAR project has been honored as a top WAA group consistently ranking in the top 10 out of the over 250 Georgia sponsorship groups. From 2017 – 2025, Apalachee Chapter and many participants honored our Veterans by placing more than 10,000 wreaths. The goal is to place a wreath on the grave of every Veteran and at Veteran’s memorials across the nation.

When a community comes together to place wreaths on veterans’ graves, we send a powerful message: your service mattered, your sacrifice is remembered, and you will never be forgotten.

PARTICIPATION

A single wreath may seem like a small gesture, but to a veteran’s family it speaks volumes. As a volunteer, you will join tens of thousands across the nation in placing wreaths on the markers of our fallen heroes. Each wreath placed is a promise that service, sacrifice, and courage will never be forgotten. Join us as we Remember, Honor, and Teach.
We invite families and volunteers of all ages to come and share in this patriotic experience!

As you place each wreath, you will “say their name” to ensure that the legacy of duty, service, and sacrifice of each veteran is never forgotten. You can play an important as part in the mission to Remember the fallen, Honor those that serve and their families, and Teach the next generation the value of freedom.
